Taylor first made his name in the music industry as the founder of Adventure ATL, an immersive indoor music festival concept based in Atlanta, Georgia. His popularity grew when he became a YouTube personality, starting the BRANDMAN NETWORK channel to help artists market and brand themselves. 

In 2019, BRANDMAN NETWORK was also launched as a music education platform for artists looking to build their fan bases and connect with other music industry professionals. 

ContraBrand formed when he came together with his partner, Jacorey Barkley, to build an agency for artists, labels and management groups that desired end-to-end digital marketing and analysis from a single source acting as an extension of their team instead of the traditional fragmented music promotions.  

ContraBrand has done work for major acts such as Emmit Fenn, 24kGoldn, Darci, Blackbear, Iggy Azalea, JAWNY. It is most known for its work behind “Back It Up” by Trap Beckham featuring Flo Milli and the #1 Billboard hit “Mood” by 24kGoldn.

Although ContraBrand has several major labels as clients, the agency is credited with innovating a marketing service model that allows independent artists to receive priority treatment most commonly associated with major acts.
