Music Funding

The population of Canada is 35 million. The population of the United States is 318 million. The population of the UK is 64 million. That makes the US nearly 10 times the size of Canada and the UK twice the size. With Canada having such a small market-size in comparison, Canada simply does not have the economic base for the music industry to survive without funding assistance from the government and various funding organizations.
